Benetti’s flamboyant Vivace Ironman

Inspired by the comic book character Ironman, the high-tech and luxurious Vivace 125’ promises the performance of a superhero!

Italian luxury shipyard Benetti launched Vivace 125’ Ironman at the recently held Cannes Yachting Festival. Inspired by Ironman, the comic book hero with a love for technology, this motor yacht has many hi-tech features and also has interiors inspired by the superhero. Already five units of this impressive yacht have been sold.

Stefano Righini has developed the sporty exterior design of the Vivace Ironman. The yacht has a length of 38.1 m and a beam of 8.3 m. Four areas have been dedicated to allowing guests to enjoy sea. Astern on the upper deck is a lounge with a custom divan; a little forward is a swimming pool, sun-deck and an additional area for unwinding. An external steering position has been added on owner’s request. The beach area is equipped with its very own bar.

The Benetti Vivace Ironman is as plush as the home and office of Ironman, housing three decks plus a sun deck, with a large owner’s gym at the upper deck. All the furnishings have been developed by the interior designer Alfred Karram Jr, and feature a modern style with liberal use of grey wood contrasted by the ceiling’s black and white colours. The crystal dining room table and steel detailing further heighten the tech feel of the interiors. There are four suites in the yacht, capable of housing eight guests, besides which there is also the owner’s apartment on the main deck.

The main deck is well-appointed with a settee, tables and armchairs. A large sliding crystal door allows guests to move from the main deck to the main salon, which has a multi-tiered finely designed ceiling. A bright crimson textured circular relief painting is juxtaposed against the black and silver aluminium wall of the dining room. The main staircase seems like a stunning waterfall, connecting the wheel house and gym above and the VIP and guest suites below.

The Vivace 125’s D2P_Displacement to Planing^® hull form with wave piercer is equipped with a series of Azipods. This lightweight yacht has a top speed of 24 knots. Its special propulsion system allows the engine room to be placed further aft, ensuring a quiet ride for the guests. The Vivace 125′ has also been awarded the RINA Comfort Class classification for its silent and smooth ride.
