Bengaluru witnessed yesterday the launch of 2015 ultra-luxurious Indian Roadmaster and Indian Chief Dark Horse at the opening of the brand’s second dealership in India.

Indian has launched two stunning new bikes: the luxurious 2015 Indian Roadmaster and the Indian Chief Dark Horse. They were unveiled on 7 May, 2015, at the opening of the brand’s second dealership in India, in Bengaluru. Polaris India Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Polaris Industries Inc. – the world leader in Off-Road and All-Terrain Vehicles – also added another milestone to the event by handing over the keys of an Indian Chief Dark Horse to its first owner in the country.

The 2015 Indian Roadmaster reflects pure American luxury. Building upon the iconic Roadmaster name used by Indian in the 1940s, the new Roadmaster re-imagines Indian Motorcycle comfort, styling and performance out on the open road, for the long haul.

The Thunder Stroke 111 engine delivers an incredible 119 ft-lbs of torque and feature styling that pays tribute to legendary Indian Motorcycle engines of the past. It comes fitted with Horizon Power Windshield with push-button adjustability to customize airflow, provide weather protection, and reduce glare. Fitted with keyless ignition, the key fob of Indian Roadmaster offers security and convenience.

The rider and passenger seat feature new desert tan leather, designed to be able to withstand the elements. This sealed, high-quality leather is strong and durable, and it complements the traditional Indian Motorcycle style.

The first Indian Motorcycle of its kind, 2016 Indian Chief Dark Horse maintains the legendary Indian Chief styling, while taking an unpolished and raw approach to its finish with blacked-out styling. Striking graphics on the fuel tank featuring monochrome war-bonnet graphics is a distinct feature of the Indian Chief Dark Horse.

The powerful Thunder Stroke 111 engine serves up 119 ft-lbs of torque, and is finished primarily in black. Features like ABS and cruise control provide advanced, automotive-quality braking. It also features an easy to set and adjust cruise control. Like its cousin Indian Roadmaster, the 2016 Indian Chief Dark Horse comes fitted with keyless ignition for a secure and convenient ride.

The new showroom is located at Exquisite Moto LLP, Prestige Nugget, No. 126, Infantry Road, Bengaluru – 560001. It will be home to the entire range of the Indian Motorcycle. The ex-showroom prices (Delhi) of  2015 Indian Roadmaster is INR 34.95 lakhs and of Indian Chief Dark Horse is INR 21.99 lakhs.
