The Transocean Chronograph Edition limited series by Breitling reflects the spirit of great journeys.
The Transocean Chronograph Edition limited series is a tribute to Breitling’s privileged ties with the chronograph. It features a two-tone dial with two vintage-style counters and a double caseback complete with a cover.
The Transocean Chronograph Edition limited series is inspired from a 1958 Breitling model, which was ultra-precise, anti-shock, anti-magnetic and super-water-resistant and had fortuitously arrived around the same time as air travel in the world had boomed. Thus this new limited series Chronograph from Breitling aims to reflect the spirit of great journeys and luxury long-haul aircrafts.
The refined face of the Transocean Chronograph Edition bears two vintage-style counters and a date window at 6 o’clock adorned with a twinzone silver-toned décor. Also on its dial are applied hour-markers and the 18K gold version of the famous B initial of Breitling. The final product is a technical, pared-down style à la the finest classic chronographs.
The back of the Chronograph is equally exquisite with the steel case distinguishable by a double back protected by a cover that allows space for a personalised engraving. The sapphire crystal provides a chance to admire an exclusive ‘engine’: Manufacture Breitling Caliber 01, a high-performance self-winding chronograph movement chronometer certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute).
This self-winding chronograph has a high-frequency (28,800 vibrations), 47 jewels and over 70-hour power reserve. It is water-resistant to 100 m/330 ft. It features convex sapphire crystal and is glare-proofed on both sides. The dial is of Mercury silver.
The Transocean Chronograph Edition limited series is teamed with an original steel mesh bracelet. It also comes with a leather or crocodile leather strap.
Issued in a 2,000-piece production run, grab this limited edition collectible chronograph while you can. The Breitling Boutique in India is located in Quest Mall on Syed Amir Ali Avenue in Kolkata.
