Bulgari redefines strength and elegance with its new Diva collection, timepieces inspired by the thermal baths of Caracalla.

Blugari’s Diva collection rapidly gained iconic status with jewellery styles that reference the elegance and strength of Rome. This theme has long been constant in Blugari’s designs, as has fan shaping. Now, the jewellery designer has put a more delicate spin on the classics, with a series inspired by the mosaic tiling showcased on the floors of the Caracalla thermal baths. This new, creative interpretation of their classic timepieces features a slim case and a uniquely textured acetate dial.
The new Diva collection takes a softer approach than previous Diva watches with their arc of multi-coloured gems. The emblematic gem-set fan has been transformed to a simple strap lug that connects the 18k pink or white gold circular case to the satin strap. It is a sophisticated, feminine look that loses none of the opulence or romanticism of the previous Diva pieces. The new Diva radiates old-world elegance with modern sensibility that is meant to capture the very essence of the contemporary woman.
Two acetate styles from the Diva Collection
Sturdy, high-tech materials make the new Diva watches simply breathtaking. Blugari heats cotton and wood fibre into acetate then cuts the material into fine strips which are treated and polished. These strips are formed into dials that are unique in both texture and design. Two of the new Diva watch styles have a completely original two-tone striated face made from acetate. Available in brown or white, the two acetate styles in the new Diva collection are set with twelve diamond indexes. The brilliant-cut precious gems also shimmer from the edge of the fan-shaped strap lug and accent the bezel. No fewer than 78 diamonds are showcased in these striking time pieces.
Diamond-pave dial watch from the Diva Collection
A diamond-pave dial is the signature of the third style in the new Diva collection. It boasts a stunning two hundred thirty-three brilliant-cut diamonds. The sheer elegance of the piece is a reminder of Bulgari’s historical expertise in jewellery. All three of the new Diva styles are adorned with the Bulgari logo.
Each timepiece features quartz movement and water resistance. The white acetate style is complemented with a champagne satin strap and the brown acetate is accented with a grey satin. Both styles have an 18k pink gold ardillion buckle. The diamond-pave dial watch has a stylish black satin strap with an 18k white gold ardillion. The winding mechanism is a cabochon-cut rubellite set within an elegantly styled 18k pink gold crown.
