On 14-15 July, 2015 they will be auctioning furniture and fixtures of a Knightsbridge residence that had been designed and furnished by famous international interior designer Alberto Pinto. The auction will comprise more than 1,200 lots featuring an array of exclusive furnishings, decorative and household items, lighting, textile products, silver and more from a host of French and Italian luxury brands.
For over 40 years, Alberto Pinto Design has designed homes for a discerning international clientele. The collection at this Knightsbridge residence has spectacular richness and diversity and displays Pinto’s signature style of combining 18th century elegance and sophistication with contemporary luxuries. The furniture is of neoclassical style, luxurious and elegant. The fabrics used are simple and refined such as damask silk, brocade, linen and velvet.
The pieces coming up for auction include items from noted haute interior designers like Barovier & Toso, Laudarte, Valderamobili, Baccarat, Christofle and Baldi Home Jewels. The bespoke furniture, interiors, collectable pieces and luxury accessories that will be showcased in the 40-room private residence are examples of fine Italian and French design and craftsmanship.
