M·A·C introduces another playful collection with bright hues and sparkling wit.
2014 marks 25 years of The Simpsons. Since its debut in 1989, the crazy cartoon family has appeared in more than 550 television episodes and in a 2007 film that had grossed more than $527 million. Joining in the celebrations of their anniversary is the global cosmetic brand M·A·C. It has rolled out a special Simpsons Collection as a tribute to the hit show.
This isn’t the first time M·A·C has turned to animated characters for its collections. Wonder Woman, the girls of Archie Comics, Disney’s villains and Hello Kitty have previously inspired M·A·C’s collections.
All the items in this collection have names inspired from The Simpsons. Our favourite is a blue eye shadow aptly named Beehive Blue after Marge Simpson’s famous beehive hairdo. Other fun names are Nacho Cheese (a bright neon lemon yellow lipglass), Vivacious Vacuum Cleaner Bag (a frosty deep navy eye shadow) and Lisa’s Spikes (a frosty lime green eye shadow).
The colour palette of The Simpsons collection is bright and happy. The collection has two special edition Eye Shadow palettes (Rs. 3,000 each), a classic 7 Lash (Rs. 1,600), 2 shades of Powder Blush (Rs. 2500 each),4 shades of Lipglass (Rs. 1,600) and M·A·C Nail Stickers (Rs. 1,500).

MAC is expensive, but completely worth every rupee. I have sensitive skin but their products have never given me any trouble.
