Victoria’s Secret Show lit up by nearly a million Swarovski crystals!

For the 13^th year, Victoria’s Secret partnered with Swarovski to create sparkling and glamorous outfits for their much-awaited annual fashion show.

This year marks 120^th years of the crystal maison Swarovski. For the 13th year Victoria’s Secret Show presented Swarovski-decked outfits on the beautiful Victoria’s Secret Angels, combining once more couture with lingerie. Among the looks presented on the runway were Fireworks, Ice Angels, Exotic Butterflies and Portrait of an Angel, each embellished with several colourful crystals. For the third year Parisian couturier Serkan Cura designed several outfits for the show, using just under a million crystals on a total of 21 looks.

The Ice Angels theme brought icy luxe on the ramp with bodysuits, shoes, and looks embellished with iconic edelweiss crystals; specially developed to commemorate Swarovski’s 120^th anniversary.

Also breath-taking were the fiery Fireworks outfits, which featured the show’s finale look featuring over 90,000 crystal beads, stones and pendants on a handcrafted 22-pound corset designed by Parisian couturier Serkan Cura. Crystals in various shades of golds, reds, emeralds, blues and patinas decked the outfit worn by first-timer Angel, Martha Hunt. The fringe of the corset featured red and yellow crystal beads in mini pave and marguerite shapes in vibrant reds and yellow, alongside fire opal crystals. Her spectacular Angel wings had over 20,000 golden and iridescent crystals and 130 feet of LED lights. Hunt also wore red Atelier Swarovski cuffs and delicate cobalt blue heels with emerald Swarovski crystals.
